Welcome to Caliro AI. By accessing or using our iOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Use of the Service

Caliro AI provides AI-based nutritional analysis of meal images and health & fitness tracking features.

• Use the app only for lawful purposes
• Do not misuse, hack, or disrupt the service
• Do not upload harmful, illegal, or inappropriate content

2. Account & Authentication

• You must sign in using Sign in with Apple
• You are responsible for maintaining your account security, including the security of the Apple ID associated with your device
• We are not responsible for unauthorized access due to your negligence

3. Free & Premium Features

• Free users get a limited number of free meal scans
• Once your free scans are used, upgrading to Premium unlocks unlimited scans
• Premium users get unlimited food scanning and all advanced features
• Subscription billing is handled via the Apple App Store and RevenueCat

4. Payments & Subscriptions

• Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your iOS device's Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions

5. Intellectual Property

• The app, design, and technology are owned by Caliro AI
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app
• AI-generated results are for personal use only

6. AI Disclaimer

Nutritional analysis is powered by AI (Google Gemini AI). Results are estimates only and may not be accurate for all foods, portion sizes, or preparation methods. Caliro AI is not a medical device and is not approved for medical use. Do not use calorie, macro, or nutrition results as the basis for medical decisions, diagnosis, or treatment of any health condition. Always consult a qualified registered dietitian or licensed healthcare professional before making dietary or health decisions.

7. Health & Fitness Data

• Caliro AI accesses step count and activity data, via Apple's Motion & Fitness framework, solely to provide fitness tracking features
• Health data is stored locally on your device only and is never uploaded to our servers
• The app is not a medical device and should not be used for medical diagnosis or treatment
• Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health decisions
• You can revoke Motion & Fitness, Camera, or Photo Library permissions at any time via iOS Settings
• We are not liable for any health outcomes based on data shown in the app

8. User Content

• You retain ownership of images you upload
• You grant us permission to process them for analysis
• We do not permanently store your photos

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated server-side data at any time. See our Account Deletion page for instructions. Data stored locally on your device is removed automatically if you uninstall the app.

10. Limitation of Liability

Caliro AI is provided "as is". We are not responsible for inaccurate results, health decisions, or service interruptions.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may stop using the app anytime.

12. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains in detail how we collect, use, and protect your data including health and fitness information.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be communicated via app notifications or an updated date on this page.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall first be addressed by contacting us at caliroai20@gmail.com. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes may be referred to the appropriate courts of jurisdiction in India.
